International Festival of Pyrotechnics (Day 4)
This festival is a celebration of Europe's most reknowned firework companies. It starts at midnight.
*Hemingway himself enjoyed attending this festival during his stays in Valencia.

Sant Donis Marizipan Confectionery(Day 5)
Day of the Valencian Community - This event follows the International Festival of Pyrotechnics as a celebration of King Jaime I's victory over Moorish forces. It is the equivalent of a Valencian Valentine's Day, as the men buy marizpan sweets for their sweethearts.

*Hemingway possibly enjoyed this celebration as it follows the pyrotechnics celebration he so loved.

Feria de Julio Festival (Day 6)
A combination of the Valencian cultures, this festival has a varity of attractions including (but not limited to) : music, theater, fireworks, and their famous brass band competition. It ends with a flower parade, seeing how the fesitval initially started out as a flower, plant, and local product fair.

*Hemingway had a wife that was a devout Catholic.

Plaza del Castillo (Day 9)
Bar where people end up just sleeping in the streets afterwards.
*Hemingway always enjoyed a night out on the town.
